James Merrick, husband of four years to Allison, is currently enrolled in the Masters of Theology in Church History program at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Thought from Trinity. Born in Maryland, James spent most of his life in Pennsylvania. He initially rejected his parents' Christianity. While in college, however, he realized the emptiness and hopelessness of life without God and found the beauty and integrity of a life lived in service to God and others. From then on, he recognized God's call to serve the church through training church leaders in the historic, biblical faith once for all delivered to the saints. While both his hobby and his profession is theological ministry, in his spare time he enjoys snowboarding, writing, music, hiking with his wife, and traveling.
